From the Chefette Diaries – 8


I would like to call this an English cuisine jacket potato meal but all I did was google my secret favourite chef Nigella Lawson whom I love only because her name resonates with that of my first crush (whom I still am deeply crushing on!) and ended up deciding to make this dish my own way. So, I did not use any recipe for this what I will call Potatoes in Soumya’s jacket and garlic Bread.

The garlic B was you basic butter and chopped garlic toasted bread and the potatoes, well if you do want to know, it was a carved out boiled potato filled with sauteed onions, celery, coriander leaves, mushrooms, salt, pepper, lemon squirts and garlic powder, topped with a little mozzarella.

In all honestly, it tasted decent but make sure you carve your potatoes entirely, not like I did mine, or you get left with a lot of plain boiled potato very soon!

      Couldn’t agree more! My reasons for checking her over say a Martha are petty, but I love her cooking nonetheless!
